  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Designing mechanical, electrical and public health systems using Revit and collaborating with architects, structural engineers and contractors to integrate services into building designs. Also ensuring designs meet current legalisations. Attending university 1 day a week for lectures, seminars and practical lab sessions.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I very much enjoy my program and have a good balance between working and having time to learn and develop my knowledge. At Buro Happold everyone is very kind and supportive and are always willing to answer your questions you have, even if it isn't directly related to BSE, for example structural or architect questions. We have specific discipline chats for any questions you have, so there will always be someone who has an answer for your question

  • The program is very well organised we have a clear career route plan, and have leaders of the program who we can ask any questions to, as well as the apprentices who have been through the same course as us.

  • At Buro Happold everyone is very kind and supportive and are always willing to answer your questions you have, even if it isn't directly related to BSE, for example structural or architect questions.   • We have a lot of support and are aware of the people we can contact for any help or questions.

  • By understanding the knowledge and logic behind designing the systems and how to coordinate with other disciplines by having a good understanding of the work they carry out.

  • There is a YEF which organise social activities, sports activities and professional networking events As well as the company organising events.
