I am doing an an on the job role as a Nursery Nurse Assistant/ Apprentice I support my Room Leader and Nursery Manager and deputy manager. I help with Babies and toddlers personal care, teach them to communicate and develop through play and activities. I maintain their safety at all times. I take them for walks , supervise at meal times and help them get to sleep . And anything else as directed by my room leader
How to cut and prepare fruit and vegetables to prevent choking in babies and toddlers.
I am enjoying my apprenticeship program very much there is lots to learn and is presented in an easy visual way. Now that I am used to One File . Took a while to get used to in the beginning yet I'm confident now. It's done in reasonable time constraints so not all at once.
I would say very well for my first ever apprenticeship. I am in my 50s now compared to the YTS scheme back in my early 20s this is more interesting.
Lots from my Room Leader she is very supportive and my Deputy manager she will give me any information I need for my learning.
A lot Lauren Masters understands my Autism and challenges and does not mind repeating things and explaining so that I can understand.
Half and half it helps to one extent. Certain aspects of my role begin to make sense once I study a certain topic.
Sadly no chance to team build 😕
Yes
I would as they are supportive and understanding of all people of abilities and ages and make everything simple to understand.
Just give them a go they are well rated online!!!
