Managing a small kitchen team to cook and deliver a menu to brand standard specifications. Organising deliveries and food orders. Recruitment of new team members. Training all kitchen team to new menu changes. Operating within health and safety guidelines and following the company safety policy to ensure food is.cooked.and delivered to the guest in a safe manner
Developed a better understanding of time management and refreshed knowledge that I already had but had forgotten about
I really enjoyed the apprenticeship and can utilise it in my day to day working life. It has been informative and demanding all at the same time
My programme was well structured from my induction and meet the trainer session to the help I had from my trainer throughout the programme. Any questions or concerns were answered in a timely
Lots of support was given from my employer via other apprentices and managers in various businesses and head office
I had lots of support from my training provider and had regular calls, meeting and online video calls throughout the prigramme
It gives you lots of knowledge and challenges you to think outside of the regular working dynamic and to train and pass that knowledge onto the rest of the kitchen team
None that I am aware of but there may be something out there that I have not explored
Yes
They have really good training and development opportunities across every brand with the opportunity to move around different brands within the company
It's one of, if not, the best company to work for in hospitality
