  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the concept and idea hugely, I’m pretty dedicated despite feeling a lack of in store interest or support for my apprenticeship development.

    3/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • On paper it’s great, in store I feel I’ve struggled. Not because of myself but because I don’t think my store is helping me to stay on track with learning and skills timeframes, which feels quite stressful.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Mixed. In formal situations the verbal support is great, but when it comes to delivering on promises made I have unfortunately been let down and that makes me feel unsupported.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It definitely gives my a deeper knowledge of retailer industry and enables me to widen my horizons of thought during work. I believe it is helpful and will continue to be even more so further down the line.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I’m not too sure.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Lidl to a friend?
  • No

  • 9b. Why?
  • Unfortunately at this moment in time I’m feeling quite unsupported and my future with Lidl looks uncertain because of this which brings me a great deal of stress daily. I hope to change this and from my own end I believe I’ve gone above my station to try to act on this but I cannot do it alone so unfortunately for these reasons I could not recommend Lidl right now.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lidl?
