My role includes leading a team, carrying out day to day management roles, locking up the shop, working stock and promoting sales
I have learned how to use a HHT, rotate stock appropriately, carry out date codes, do promo price checks, put change into till, how to cash up and bank cash at the end of the week
The job provides a wide variety of things to learn, but can be very repetitive.
The programme itself is very well structured. The online work modules provide a steady pace of work with a good amount of support. The role of the job is well structured in the work book.
I receive a lot of support for my online learning and how to progress, however I need more support from the appropriate team members in store to help me progress through the role.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider for my qualifications. The appropriate help is always given and done in a good way. I work through my online work at a good, steady pace.
I feel it helps a lot as I can go into my job role being well educated on certain topics. It gives me more confidence in the job role when I have prior knowledge.
