  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

    • I am in forecasting, I support my manager is creating forecasts and support the resource team with scheduling and staffing levels through agencies. I also have allocated time in my day to work on my upcoming assignments for my apprenticeship, and we also have workshops every week.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

    • I have developed my existing coding skills in Python. I have also learnt more about VSCode, Github and SQL.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • I enjoy the apprenticeship - it's very challenging but I get to develop existing and new skills.

    • Very structured - we get lots of support and it's easy to reach out when we need it.

    • I could do with more support, but it's difficult sometimes as I am the only one on the apprenticeship here.

    • A lot of support. We have plenty of resources including tutoring sessions and events.

    • I am able to apply my learning through making products like dashboards in automating processes.

    • Yes

  • 9b. Why?

    • There are plenty of opportunities at the airport. Since it's also a 24 hour organisation, there's always new things going on which is exciting.

    • Do what is best for you.
