I work in the London Development Land team who focus on the disposal and acquisition of property inside the M25, particularly sites that have a residential angle
I have developed my networking skills, Savills offers a whole range of opportunities to get involved internally and externally when it comes to meeting new people.
I thoroughly enjoy the fact that i get to learn on the job as well as carry out a degree at the same time. The work I complete in the day job is really helpful when it comes to completing assignments.
Savills set out a very clear plan from the moment you join that is well aligned with the university programme as well as the RICS programme. We always know what our next steps are.
My employer continues to offer me support throughout my apprenticeship, whether that be mental health support or academic support. My colleagues are always happy to answer any questions I might have regarding my uni assignments.
UCEM have always offered support from the moment I started, making me aware that should I ever have any issues then I know where to go.
The first few years seem to relate a little less to the day job than the latter, I think this is probably down to having to learn the fundamentals of the built environment before learning more specialist subjects.
I actively take part in Savills football and had the opportunity to represent Savills in the Property Cup with a day playing at Loftus Road
