    • As a general manager each day is different, facing new challenges every day, looking after our guests while coaching and mentoring my team to support their ongoing development and meeting all their needs. All that while ensuring business operation is according to set policies and rules, as well as supporting my peers across the district as well as brand.

    • I have learned several new skills but mainly was able to identify my current skills and take them to another level.

    • Extremely enjoyable program mainly due to opportunity to meet similar people from different departments as well as different industries and discuss different coaching and mentoring approaches.

    • Very organised with a clear structure and set calendar that allows to manage you time and program effectively.

    • Huge amount of support and flexibility, that allowed me to focus on learning when needed.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

    • My coach was extremely helpful, performing mock exams as well as having regular mentoring catch up meetings.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • This qualification took me on self reflection journey allowing me to put my previous experience in practice and making it more effective as well as adding new skill set to it, making me better coach and mentor.
