On a day to day basis I have to do many jobs like opening and closing the shop myself. As well as managing staff on their daily tasks as well. I would also have to complete safe checks and pick ups every day.
Yes I have developed some of my skills like my communications skills has definitely improved since starting working here. I also feel like my confidence has 100% gone up more than before.
I love this programme because it gives me a chance to learn whilst I’m working. It never feels like I don’t know what I am doing on a day to day basis. Also everyone I work with is very supportive in making sure I have my work done and seeing if I need any help.
The programme is organised very well I always have tasks / work set so I’m never not doing anything. I also have monthly meeting with my apprenticeship trainer this helps to go over if I’m struggling with anything or if I need more work etc.
I receive loads of support from the managers. They are constantly asking if I need any help with any of the work I have been set. Or if they can teach me something new.
I also receive loads of support from my training provider. They help to explain certain things I’m unsure about and talks me through some modules if I’m a little stuck. They are always trying to find ways to help improve any answers which can be better.
It helps me perform better because it tells me that I do know these things and now I can start showing it in my job role.
Not that I know of yet however we have planned to go for some work meals together as a team
Yes
Since starting here I have been told by friends and family that I have a lot happier and am showing myself in a much better way. Also the team is amazing you will not ever feel like you can’t be yourself. I feel like you can just fit right in with no judgement from anyone.
Not to be afraid to start at the company because it’s amazing, you don’t need to hide who you are you can be yourself. A tip I would give is to prepare to be working all the time because there is always things to do which is a good thing.
