I help deliver Engineering solutions to rail renewal projects within the Rail Systems Alliance. This involves drafting reports and contribution to the completion of drawings/designs.
- My computing skills are much better since joining Arcadis - Starting to identify potential issues with existing projects/designs before using software to find it for me
I think the programme is a great way to gain relevant experience to my chosen degree and i enjoy the challenge.
The organisation is well structured
I receive lots of support from my employer
It can sometimes be difficult to get answers to questions quickly as emails have to be sent etc, but, time management is important to give yourself enough time to find an answer.
I feel my degree is relevant in some ways to my job role, although i feel my degree helps me see other angles to problems that i might not have seen before.
Yes, i am a member of the PWI which is a professional body in which i can become a Chartered Engineer with. They host events that are good for understanding more, CPD and networking

I would recommend a degree apprenticeship to anyone, its a great way to earn, gain experience and network all while getting your degree. Arcadis in particular is a great opportunity for me, the people are great and the work is challenging
