1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role as a Senior Project Manager at Balfour Beatty has a dual focus. Firstly, I reinforce governance at the back end of the Gated Business Lifecycle (GBL). The GBL framework is designed to ensure successful project delivery. Secondly, I drive continuous business improvement by analysing various project data converging at the handover to identify process friction and deviations experienced by project teams during delivery. Following the analysis, I collaborate with teams from IT, business management systems (BMS), quality departments to develop solutions that remove of minimise identified frictions.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes. I have advanced my skills in following areas: - structured approach to business transformation - advanced business and process analysis to identify improvement opportunities - applying range of structured investigative techniques - eliciting information from stakeholders - advanced process modelling and automation design

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Although the programme is quite time demanding, I thoroughly enjoy the experience and the opportunity to improve my expertise further.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

Workshops and knowledge materials from Multiverse are very well organised. Balfour Beatty provides great opportunities to apply newly gained knowledge imminently which greatly reinforces learning process.

So many it is hard to count. There are plenty opportunities to network and dip into a collective knowledge of our company.
