An IT solution is a collection of related programs, applications, and services that aim to address a specific technological issue. I work on all levels of the Solutions Development Lifecycle. This includes gathering stakeholder requirements, planning what the IT solution will be, designing that solution and then implementing and testing that solution for the wider business. Once this is done I make sure to maintain the solution and work on incidents and updates for the solution.
Throughout my apprenticeship I have learned core IT technical knowledge. This ranges from topics like an IT Network all the way to Cyber Security. I have learnt cloud computing concepts as well as how to use databases like SQL to create applications. I have learnt the different types of data structures and how to use them with code. I have also learnt how to communicate professionally and become a valuable member to my team and business.
I love my programme, it allowed me to be fully integrated to a team of IT professionals. It allowed me to learn about all the topics that I enjoy within IT. This programme provided a strong insight on what I should aim for in my career as well as how to be a valued employee,.
Firebrand provide good information on the structure of your overall programme. They have many mentors and teams that are happy to assist with any of your issues. They help with all kinds of learning and have IT professionals ready to assist you. However, there are often times where misguiding information is provided as well as information that is late. I also had three different learning mentors throughout my apprenticeship.
My employer is has many IT professionals who are always happy to teach me anything I do not understand, I was allowed to spend time with multiple teams when I needed help with projects. If I needed extra time for learning my employer would also provide that as well as a designated space to work in peace and quiet.
Firebrand will provide any information that I ask for, if I needed any resources they are always happy to assist. However, I often found that I needed to ask for information and really push to get the answers I needed. The answers provided were always more than enough which is a good thing.
My qualification allowed to me to understand why I was working in the way that I was, it made it so that I was able to work independently as I had a better understanding to my role. I was able to apply my knowledge when interacting with people internally and externally as well as perform well in my projects.
There are many extra-curricular activities, things like bake-sales, opening evening, reach out events and the opportunity to host work experience. It is brilliant for interacting with all sorts of individuals ranging in age, responsibilities and roles. It also allows me to network and build my interactions with those around me.

Firebrand training Limited have some of the best fast-track lessons I have ever been to. They allow you to learn all the knowledge for a certification. These lessons have experienced individuals who can answer very technical questions. Firebrand have all the information I needed to achieve a distinction. They are great for any apprentice.
Anyone who would have Firebrand as there training provider should be prepared to be an independant learner. Firebrand are not a school and are not going to "hold your hand". Firebrand is perfect if you are able to communicate your needs and issues. They are a great training provider and will support anyone in an apprenticeship.
