  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • As a project support officer, I support the Benefit Realisation and Business Case Manager in maintaining records, booking meeting, updating plans and trackers, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Currently, I have been redeployed to a non-project role with Workplace Adjustment Team.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes. I have been able to learn various liks Leadership, Communication, Planning, Risk Management, Problem Solving, Governance, Quality Management, Project Scheduling and Scope, Team work and Stakeholder Management.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have enjoyed every bit of the programme as it covers all the areas that i wanted to develop myself for the future project role. I have also been preparing for my Functional Skills qualification along with this programme.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The course is well structured but more teaching is needed around the Agile approach of the project.

  • I have received support from my employer with more than expected. My Line Manager and team have been helpful throughout the journey so far.

  • I have received good amount of support from the training provider.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It has boosted my confidence and helped in understanding the context of the project, Program and Portfolio as I was very new to this area. I hope I will be given opportunity to work within the project again as I have worked hard for the this Project Management apprenticeship.

  • I have been involved within the wellbeing and people group for a while during my project role.
