As a Business Analyst apprentice at Computacenter, I have been assigned to enhance our GRC framework, with a particular focus on the service desk function. Each day, I participate in meetings to understand current processes thoroughly and to identify areas where improvements can be made.
Other than gaining technical knowledge, the most prominent improvement would by my communication skills.
This apprenticeship has been an outstanding experience so far. I have enjoyed the opportunity to connect and collaborate with a wide range of colleagues, which has been the most rewarding aspect of the role.
I have been given a lot of freedom so may not have received the same amount of structure that other programs provide but help and guidance is always freely available so I would say it is a net positive.
A tremendous amount, I speak to my liner manager and director multiple times a week so have any issues I encounter addressed almost immediately.
A good amount of support, any questions I have can be addressed via email.
The frameworks and methodologies introduced to me through Firebrand training are essential to my role as a Business Analyst at Computacenter.
Yes their are, although I am based a good distance from the main office in Hatfield I have been invited to and attended several networking events alongside other non-work specific activities.

Simply for the amazing, welcoming people alongside being able to partake in exiting work withing the IT industry. As an apprentice, I have found the Future Talents team to be exceptionally supportive – a special thank you to Sarah and Grace for their help.
Simply to make an extra effort in preparing for the interviews and application tasks.
