At Balfour Beatty i work within the asset and technology solutions SBU. My Job revolves around the maintenance and safety of our HGV Fleet.
I have developed and learnt many new skills during this role. This includes my ability to communicate with stakeholders which is key to my job role.
I am thoroughly enjoying my programme, The course is set out very well and i always feel supported by the people at QA and from all of my co-workers. This helps me enjoy it as i never feel stressed from the workload or pressure.
The programme is very well structured, I usually have a online workshop once a month on a certain topic and then work to complete based on that topic.
I receive a lot of support from My coworkers and line manager at Balfour Beatty, for both my apprenticeship and workload.
There is a lot of support from the provider as i have a monthly meeting with my Learning consultant who is always there to offer expertise and support.
I feel that the skills, knowledge and behaviours that i will learn and develop within this programme will be very beneficial to my role.
At Balfour Beatty, There is a programme called R-life which creates and provides activities in and out of work which creates opportunities to socialise with colleagues and also network outside of the work.
