I am a customer advisor so my day to day involves working stock and operating the tills.
I have developed many new academic skills and built upon existing ones. Within work I have majorly developed my time keeping and organisation skills which allow me to manage my time and efforts more effectively and complete tasks to a high standard.
I am thoroughly enjoying my programme at the moment, the workload can be significant at times and if you don't manage your time effectively it can quickly build up.
From a Lidl perspective it has been relatively well organised, in my experience I haven't had any issues but I know of other people on the course who have dropped out due to the stress of things not being organised and or explained enough. From a training providers perspective Kingston have been neither here nor there when it comes to organisation they all need to communicate with one another before conveying the information to us. The information they provide us with sometimes is contradictory.
My specific store manager has been fantastic at accommodating my needs and the expectations from a studying and assignment perspective.
There are a plethora of support systems in place from Kingston university and they have been explained to us many times. I haven't personally used them but I know where I need to go if support was needed.
I don't think the current modules or assignments really help me in my current role as customer advisor, I know when I progress to management that the topics and skills will become more relevant and understanding them will give me an edge in such a competitive market.

I think they have treated me very well so far. The job is hard and demanding a times but it is very rewarding. I also find my personal values align with Lidls meaning its easier for me to see a future with the company.
Be prepared for the workload, it is not for the faint of heart. Long days and physically demanding but very rewarding.
