I lead the Schools Outreach Programme across the UK by managing partnerships with local schools, councils, universities and colleges to inspire the next generation to pursue careers in IT
Yes, communication skills, project management, strategic thinking, leadership, presentational and teamworking skills.
I have thoroughly loved my programme and working within my role. I appreciate how much my role aligns with my apprenticeship course and I value all the support given to me by my learning mentor and my line manager at Computacenter.
It is very well structured and is tailored to my work. I have set days fand hours for my academic learning and time towards my group study webinar sessions, as well as time to complete my role and attend school outreach events.
My employer has been extremely supportive throughout the whole course of my apprenticeship. I regularly discuss my learning progress in my 1-2-1 meetings, I feel comfortable asking for additional study time where needed and we continuously address my development points and improvements.
The team at LDN Apprenticeships have been absolutely amazing! My learning mentor in particular, Devina, always goes above and beyond for me and helps me with achieving my goals and set aside time for additional support where needed, where we have meetings to attend to any areas of difficulty.
Very well! With regular 1-2-1 meetings, group study sessions, in-person development days and coaching sessions with my mentor and manager, it has helped me to perform even better in my existing role and manage my time between my work and my apprenticeship study
I am involved in several Employee Impact Groups at work, for example, the Ethnic Diversity network, the Charity Fundraising group, FreshMinds for New Starters in the company and general school and charity volunteering opportunities in local communities
Yes
I would highly recommend Computacenter as they value their employees, they provide a plethora of opportunities for growth and career development and the people culture at the organisation is phenomenal.
Follow your passion and thrive for the best. If you also do not initially see a role or programme you are most interested in, remember there are other entry routes and pathways into various departments once you have started at the firm.
