Taking children in from the door in the mornings and handing them back over to parents, informing them on how they are. serving breakfast lunch and tea. Providing personal care, playing with children and doing educational activities with them. Learning and reseaarching about child care and early years education.
I have developed my skills on providing personal care. I have learnt how to set up an activity with the three I's. I have learnt about the development of a child and the importance of the eyfs.
I am really enjoying this programme. I love working with children and I'm finding the course really interesting. The staff and trainers are very kind and helpful.
Overall it is well structured and organised however, I think more communication between the training provider and the nursery needs to be done before the course starts and throughout, so that I have a better time frame and routine to balance my assignments, calls and assesments with work on the job.
Yes
High quality training and teaching is provided. I always feel like I can talk to my trainer about anything I'm struggling with and the webinars and information provided is very useful.
Make sure the course workload balances with the hours of work you have to do at your setting.
