I coordinate early careers programmes across the UK supporting the business to recruit, develop and retain early careers talent. This involves communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, evaluating performance of programmes and suppliers, innovating for improvement, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance
My career journey with Howdens to date has been one of ongoing development. The chartered management degree programme is helping me to understand the business in a wider context that my role and develop new skills that I can apply directly to my role
I'm really enjoying the development and relishing the opportunity to learn and grow
My programme is really well organised into weekly learning activities that I can directly apply to the module assignments and my day to day work
I've always had excellent support from Howdens throughout the my career journey with them. I work hard to improve early careers for both the business and apprentices and in return have helped me to achieve a number of professional and personal ambitions and continue to do so
I think the support that I have received from my PDE at Corndel has been excellent and enjoy working with them.
