My role is quantity surveying. As i am just starting out it mainly involves helping out more senior Quantity Surveyors. On a day to day basis I get involved with helping with tender assessments, making purchase orders and helping out with change management.
I have learnt lots of new skills that are related to my job role such as carrying out a tender assessment and also skills within Microsoft excel. I have developed existing skills such as communication and teamwork.
I enjoy getting new daily tasks and learning and developing my skills. I enjoy daily interactions and having responsibility on the project. Some tasks can get slightly repetitive but i feel this will change as I progress as a Quantity Surveyor.
