  • Develops, implements and maintains the financial plans and policies of the organisation. Day to day I currently run reports, shadow colleagues while i learn the processes and contribute to end of month tasks

  • yes, ive learnt lots of new skills within the finance industry such as how to operate the site specific systems, broaden my knowledge of excel and how to work more effectively in a team

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I'm thoroughly enjoying my programme in every aspect, from the shadowing and learning to getting the opportunity to talk to new people and gain more experiences.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very structured, i have a set schedule/timetable for my apprenticeship study and college days and set out meeting with my manager to discuss plans for the week and my up and coming tasks/goals

  • A lot of support from my employer with veery part of my job

  • Lots, down to college lessons to textbooks and extra resources

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Much better due to the fact everything in my apprenticeship is directly related to my job, it helps me advance my skills and knowledge every day from processes to system usage

  • Yes there are many social communities available to join from ones about the environment and mental health down to music and choirs

  • Yes

  • A very inclusive employer who really look after their employees, with a great recruitment process with excellent communication throughout and amazing colleagues who i get to work with daily


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Channel 4?
  • Take your time and put as much effort into your application as you can, be yourself and don't be afraid to apply for something completely new and out of your comfort zone
