  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role as an EPMO Apprentice is like project management I have to overview the projects that enter the portfolio. It is also about governance and making sure the updates the project managers give are accurate and filled in correctly.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt ,many new skills since starting even though its only been a couple of months. I have learnt skills on Excel, lucid. Also how to use monday.com and simple things like booking meeting rooms, sending invitations for meetings out.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really am enjoying the programme all employees have been really welcoming and helpful when i ask questions. I have also met all of the new apprentices which has been a nice way of networking.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is really organised with 4 days working at C4 and then a day release for the apprenticeship. I also can do 60/40 of being at home and in the office.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive lots of support from C4 and have 1-2-1 with my manager on how i'm getting on every other week.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive feedback on my assignments I complete and have every other week a meeting to check in with how i'm getting on where my manager also joins the call.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification helps me look at channel 4 as a whole organisation. It also gives me training on subjects I focus on in my role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are lots of activities that go on in the office and outside the workplace you can get involved in.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • There a great organisation to work for and they are very supportive towards you especially when learning. They also have a good work life balance culture.

  • To be confident, be yourself and enjoy the process
