My role as an EPMO Apprentice is like project management I have to overview the projects that enter the portfolio. It is also about governance and making sure the updates the project managers give are accurate and filled in correctly.
I have learnt ,many new skills since starting even though its only been a couple of months. I have learnt skills on Excel, lucid. Also how to use monday.com and simple things like booking meeting rooms, sending invitations for meetings out.
I really am enjoying the programme all employees have been really welcoming and helpful when i ask questions. I have also met all of the new apprentices which has been a nice way of networking.
The programme is really organised with 4 days working at C4 and then a day release for the apprenticeship. I also can do 60/40 of being at home and in the office.
I receive lots of support from C4 and have 1-2-1 with my manager on how i'm getting on every other week.
I receive feedback on my assignments I complete and have every other week a meeting to check in with how i'm getting on where my manager also joins the call.
The qualification helps me look at channel 4 as a whole organisation. It also gives me training on subjects I focus on in my role.
Yes there are lots of activities that go on in the office and outside the workplace you can get involved in.

There a great organisation to work for and they are very supportive towards you especially when learning. They also have a good work life balance culture.
