  • I work as the data analyst in the value channels in the customer development team. On a day to day I work to summarise data and make reports for the team, I also create programmes that assist the team with their daily day to day tasks.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Working at Unilever I have been able to greatly develop my Excel skills, starting I knew very little about the capabilities of Excel and now I am able to do Xlookup and use VBA. I have also developed my skills with Power Bi, a tool that I did not know much about prior to starting

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I greatly enjoy my apprenticeship, the teams are welcoming and are eager to assist you in the journey. I have not once felt like I was disturbing someone when asking question nor have I ever felt like I have been left alone not know what to do

  • It is well structured as whatever role you may be in, you are able to reach out across the business and try your hand in other areas that may suite you better

  • I have received plenty of support

  • I have received some support but it has at times not been the clearest

  • I feel it is supportive in bridging gaps in my knowledge but I often find that I have learnt what I am being taught through my role

  • There is an abundance of extra-curricular activities. Plus if there something you want to do yourself it is very to start something

  • Yes

  • It's offers an excellent platform to learn and develop as an apprentice whilst giving you real tough experience


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unilever?
  • Just be open as the company will be more entertaining when you are
