Yes learning how to use design software such as figma and other workplace software such as Mural. Also skills such as presenting and developing communication skills when working with clients or members of the team.
Yes it is a nice community , so they are plenty of people that are in the same boat as you , so you never feel alone at any point.Everyone is is very understanding and willing to help so that allows you to enjoy the programme/experience.
I would say it i say from the beginning it is well structured when it comes to the induction and onboarding it was very organised and a great experience , we were aware of the next steps and what to expect when joining etc. Hoever I would say when it comes to actually joining a team and project work sometimes it is unclear on what you're suppose to be doing or when you are going to join a project but that varies from project to project and workload.
Yes there is a variety of support I receive. At the beginning of the apprenticeship you will be assigned with a buddy , which I found very useful as I was able to ask them any questions, also managers and other members of the team are very helpful and willing to help with any queries.
Yes i recive a good amount of support from my training provider I have a skills coach that has regular check ins which I find very helpful and their like a middle point between the training provider and the company. They can suggest any workshops or 1-1 coaching to help towards any assignments or university work which I find very helpful
i think my qualification helps me alot towards my job role because it work hand in hand as the theory I learn at university can be applied to my day to day interactions at work , which is helpful as it gives you more independence and knowledge when working on a project.
Yest there are many society to take part in , from women societies to sports ones , their also quite interactive with in person sessions as well so its a nice way to meet people from across the organaisation. There is also a lot ofnetwroking events available.
