  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I fulfil requests from the sales department, which usually consists of providing insights and data to them. Based on their inquiry, I may find top viewed shows on Channel 4, a profile of a particular show, Data around what kind of Viewers Channel 4 attracts and so on. I collate these stats into compelling docs or short presentations. This is used when pitching to clients, or just part of a day to day need. I also take part in bigger research projects, working closely with other teams in the Insight department. As for the academics I will be completing my marketing course, once a week, which includes coursework and other tasks.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme a lot, I enjoy being part of the team- even though I am in a junior position, they treat me as one of them, and I feel encouraged to work hard. I am still waiting for my apprenticeship course with the academy to start so I haven't had the chance to establish a work/study schedule yet.
