I fulfil requests from the sales department, which usually consists of providing insights and data to them. Based on their inquiry, I may find top viewed shows on Channel 4, a profile of a particular show, Data around what kind of Viewers Channel 4 attracts and so on. I collate these stats into compelling docs or short presentations. This is used when pitching to clients, or just part of a day to day need. I also take part in bigger research projects, working closely with other teams in the Insight department. As for the academics I will be completing my marketing course, once a week, which includes coursework and other tasks.
So far I have learnt how to use various different programmes that I didn't know existed before, I'm constantly learning more terminology and understanding the ways of the office.
I enjoy the programme a lot, I enjoy being part of the team- even though I am in a junior position, they treat me as one of them, and I feel encouraged to work hard. I am still waiting for my apprenticeship course with the academy to start so I haven't had the chance to establish a work/study schedule yet.
My manager is very helpful to make to do list for me, and in terms of working at Channel 4 I feel like I am getting stuck in with doing the work. I cannot comment on the academics as I haven't started them yet.
A lot of support and friendly team!

I am taking part in a Apprentice project and also have a variety of clubs to join. Lots of opportunities if you look for them!
Yes
Because they take apprentices seriously, and they are enthusiastic about our development, giving us a good insight into the department we're in but also flagging that we can shadow other teams, helping us really see the world of broadcasting and TV
To think outside the box when set tasks, to reflect on what makes you unique and use that, and to be honest and truthful in interviews, showing that you are a strong competitor, & you have goals that Channel 4 can help build!
