I am required to set out all assets required to be inputted which providing the correct levels and making sure everything is to the drawing
I have developed many skills while working within the role, working as part of a team, attention to detail, ensuring to double check work to avoid errors
I am really enjoying the programme, though it is hard managing work-life balance as it's required to study/do assignments in our own time if not able to complete at work during busy periods
I feel it is structured well, the modules which are in the programme are very suited to an engineering role in what we do day-to-day from speaking to my mentor where his wasn't very well suited to civil engineering role.
I receive a vast amount from my mentor due to me working with him 24/7 and any questions i have to ask he either answers them or my current site manager does. Support from other parties is every now and then when information is required to be given.
Support could be provided more especially with us doing 1weekly blocks every month which the communication can be delayed due to the teachers having lessons when we're not there.
Yes, all sorts of events where we're able to network with other colleagues within the company.
Yes
I feel like i am valued here as an employee as they have many great benefits along with a great workforce who are willing to assist in whenever help is needed.
You have to be motivated and have the willingness to learn a vast amount of information both in your role and education side especially within the first 6months
