  • It's been a wonderful experience so far and I'm really enjoying myself, the team and culture at C4 is amazing!

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Extremely well organised, I can tell a lot of thought has gone into this programme and I don't feel like I'm left doing nothing at any moment. I think a portion of it is focused on self lead work so as long as you take initiative you'll get the most out of it.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • More than I could ever ask for, any accommodation I need is met with kindness and I feel safe talking to my line manager and team.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I believe it fits perfectly, everything I learn in my apprenticeship, there is a reason for it in my role. And if there's ever something I don't feel is relevant to my role, I still feel a benefit in learning it as it is good knowledge for the wider industry.

    10/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, I am part of the Cultural Working Group where we ensure diversity and inclusion is prioritised in the workplace and I am also a part of the Apprentice Show cohort where all C4 Apprentices produce a piece of content we have created!

  • 9a. Would you recommend Channel 4 to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • As a workplace, it is a lovely, friendly, accommodating environment with forward thinkers and employers who welcome everyone. As a creative organisation, they are risk takers and I love working for a place that isn't afraid to stand up for what is right.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Channel 4?
  • During interview stages, you'll get a task to complete. If you're applying for a creative role like I was, take risks, throw some fun and whacky ideas out! Channel 4 are risk takers and they're bold, and they love it when they see you have understood that and thought of some really fun and creative ideas!
