Within my job role I place orders, create quotes, run outstanding order reports and work with customers. I also speak to vendors and distributors so we can build strong relationships and learn about their company and the products they offer.
During the programme I have defiantly improved in my confidence, organisational skills, time management and my IT skills.
So far I have no complaints when it comes to the programme. I have enjoyed every day so far and have built so many relationships with a variety of different people and feel like I have improved massively since joining the company.
Very well organised. I have a study day every Monday where I only do my college work for the day and Tuesday to Thursday we work in office with Friday being a working from home day. This gives us a perfect balance when it comes to balancing work and studying.
We receive a lot of support from our employer and I never feel scared or worried when we have a problem. Everyone is super helpful and have not had anyone say no to me when I ask for help.
We have regular calls with our training provider in groups or 1 to 1. We have constant support when it comes to work load and they are super flexible if we need more time on a certain task and are always happy to help.
It helps a lot as it gives us a deeper understanding in the wider business and gave us more insight in the business world and made us aware of a load of things.
Out reach programmes - going into schools and making them aware of Computacenter and the BEE program is where you go into school and mentor a year 10 student.
