    • Responsibilities include: - Regular book keeping for a variety of clients - client contact for ad hoc requests - preparation of quarterly VAT returns or management accounts - Engaging with training provider and attending lessons for study modules - Assisting senior team with their work and being proactive in looking for new opportunities

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

    • I’ve developed loads of new skills as someone who’s never done accountancy before - the training provided is robust and thorough and you’re never overwhelmed by the work given. It’s a very stable environment to learn in.

    • I really enjoy my programme - the support is amazing and you really feel like you’re getting new hands on experience every day

    • Very well structured with a dedicated professional studies team

    • I receive every good levels of support from both my line manager and professional studies

    • The teaching is very well organised with dedicated study time off as well as days off for exams

    • Every time I pass an exam or finish a study day I feel as if I’m better equipped to do my job - I can often relate learning to my work

    • I’ve gotten involved with the firm’s outreach events for prospective students and we often have team socials
