I have learnt many new skills throughout my apprenticeship studies such as IT change management, project management, a deeper understanding of finance, organisational governance structures and organisational strategy.
It has really enriched my job role and supported my personal development. I believe it has help best position me for development in the future.
The structure of the programme is great, however the organisation of it could be better. Changes in tutors etc have been a contributing factor in this.
My employer has been incredibly supportive of my studies, both with time, resources when I have needed study materials etc and providing opportunities for me to connect with other people in the organisation I otherwise wouldn't have.
They are very supportive and understanding.
Absolutely. There are so many things I have learnt that have enabled me to bring a fresh perspective and/or new ways of doing things.
There are Christmas socials, pay day socials etc, however as I work remotely these are usually difficult to get to as they are usually based at head office.
Yes
It's such a big organisation, so almost whatever your profession there are roles. This also provides the opportunity to move roles if you so wish. Good benefits package and opportunity for shares etc too.
Be yourself! Also focus on what transferrable skills you ca bring to a prospective role, rather that just what you have direct experience of- this can bring some great perspective and fresh ideas.
