I work at Computacenter as an apprentice software developer, developing in T-SQL. I am responsible for writing and building code, identifying areas that can be improved and Participating with BAU (Business as usual). During all of this I work with my team and interacted with customers that are requesting work (reports being built) that need to be completed.
Communication skills have improved massively as partaking in meeting rooms. Overall programming skills have improved as part of my day to day work.
Love what I do. Everyone at Computacenter are always there to help even if u got loads of questions.
my programme is well structured aligning up well with what I am learning in my apprenticeship.
I have weekly catch ups with line managers. Monthly I have a technical 121 to see where I am with my technical knowledge. If I have any other questions to ask the future talent team at Computacenter they are happy to help
Whenever I get stuck with apprenticeship work. They ate happy to help whenever needed
It gave me more structure in my day to day work.
I attend outreach events, hosting podcasts and monthly apprentice meet ups.
