Yes, have an indepth knowledge of practices that I wouldn't initally have encountered in my current role. Im learning new skills with powerpoint presnetations and excel spreadsheets too.
I'm finding it interesting and do enjoy completing a module. Its a great sense of achievement to pass each section and learn new skills
The Aptem system is a great tool to use as a guide to how far along you are, I like the monthly tasks being set so ther is a goal to aim for. Meetings with my coach are regular too and nothing is too much trouble.
My manager is brilliant and gives me all the time I need to complete my apprenticeship work. They also give me tasks to help with my off the job training too.
I had a coach for my functional skills math, the support was brilliant with regular meetings. Same with my Apprenticeship, my coach is always avaialble and we have regular meetings. She is very knowledgable and inspiring.
Its is giving me more insight into working practices, giving me an understanding of projects for example helps me to realsie how much hard work goes into the background work. Its giving me confidence to do and learn more.
None at my place of work
