  • Day-to-day I am usually in the office working on different drawings, whether that be creating, amending or printing and work on a range of projects prioritising different ones on certain days.

  • I've learnt many new skills from my apprenticeship, both technical and software skills and interpersonal skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • This programme has been one of my best experiences in life, I have learnt so much and would recommend an apprenticeship to everyone looking. The work experience you get whilst learning at the same time is very beneficial.

  • Quite organised and structured, when it comes to it I know what I am doing and where I am development wise

  • Personally, I receive a lot of help from my employer/ colleagues everyday, someone is always free to support.

  • My training provider has provided the necessary resources I need to achieve to grades in assignments, exams to get the full qualification

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are often many socials at work organised by other colleagues which are good for team building and general socialisation

  • Yes

  • Arup, from personal experience, has been a great place to work and learn. The projects are interesting, the work is challenging and the people are really supportive and want you to strive for the best

  • Just go for it and be yourself when applying
