  • As a Delivery Consultant in Expert Labs, my role revolves around delivering technical solutions and services to clients, ensuring they maximize the value of IBM’s products. The role involves a mix of technical expertise, client interaction, problem-solving, and project management.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have been able to develop a strong mix of technical, professional, and soft skills. Analysing technical issues and problem solving are skills that I was able to develop through my roles within the apprenticeship.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme has been quite exciting and fun, but it has also had its challenges such as balancing university and completing tasks and responsibilities within the current role. Overall the experience has been great so far.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is structured farily well and the managers from both the university and from work, have been helful. The universty course at times can feel like a bit strenuous with the assignments, logging hours, and meeting KSBs.

  • There is a good amount of support.

  • The course has been structured well enough and the mentors that we have are really helpful as well.

  • With the right selected specialism I beileve one can definitley apply the learning to a degree towards their role.

  • There are a lot of acoial activities that are hosted and many people can get involved with it at work.

  • Yes

  • I feel like you can learn a lot and develop your skills at the company by working with the expereinced team members that we have.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to IBM?
  • Being proactive, researching the company and see what it is currently doing in the market ( case studies), having the throught process of there is always something new to learn (continous learning)
