I am currently doing a rotation programme working with the operatives, dealing with Health & Safety, quality, general subcontractor management and queries, programmes and compliance.
I have learnt lots of new skills, some more basic and some more advanced. I have learnt about key areas of SHE, reviewing drawings, looking at technical details, quality to expect and how to speak to sub-contractors regarding their works.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme at work and at university. I learn lots of different things and have met some great people. I am constantly learning and I enjoy this aspect of what I am doing.
I believe it is very well structured as I do day release which I prefer to doing a block release as I can take my learning into the following day at work or vise versa.
I receive alot of support from my employer and they are good at meeting my needs.
I receive alot of support from my training provider and they are helping me with providing all the relevant information when working towards my qualifications.
I feel my training helps me perform better in my role as they cover similar subjects and my qualification covers all topics I am required to know about and I can take my learning into my job and also learning from my job into my university.
Yes there are CPD's I can attend at work.
