For my role i primally work with civils 3d to create and edit drawings for projects.
Yes, i completed a level 3 diploma at college which has helped develop many skills as well as my CAD knowledge.
I really enjoy my programme and the opportunities it presents.
Very well structured as i have a mentor to help me with day-to-day questions, a line manager for more senior support and an apprentice manager for apprenticeship specific help as well as an apprentice network with other apprentices.
A lot, they are incredibly supportive with all aspects of my apprenticeship and general life.
I originally worked with STEGTA before they went into administration, during my time working with them there was an online portal i could upload my work to and we had monthly meetings. With Leeds college of building we only worked together in the final parts of my apprenticeship althought it was only a limited time they were helpful.
They have helped me understand the theory behind some of the principals i work to.
Yes! There are several extra-curricular activates to get involved in from crochet to climbing so there's plenty for people to chose from.
Yes
ARUP is a great place to work, my colleagues have supported me throughout my entire apprenticeship and the work i complete is fascinating and ever changing.
Be yourself, ARUP values having a diverse group of people who are able to speak their mind to work together to make better solutions. Show them what you can offer!
