  • I help with Client support and do bits of development ( helping fix bugs and improving the application I'm working on) as well as testing the changes I've made.

  • Yes I have learnt new coding languages. Learnt how to work on an Agile team. Improved my team-working and communication skills. As well as learning the process of how my team works

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I've enjoyed it alot. My expectations before I started the apprenticeship scheme has been met and even exceeded.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I feel it has been really structured and organised as I have been put on a team since I've joined and they have set me up with the right people. Additionally I feel the training I've been put to do prepared me well to start working.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I feel supported fully from not only my team but colleagues outside my team as well.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I feel supported from my University. I'm only on my first year but I can see them constantly supporting not only my University work but my company's work as well.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • So far I have learnt alot from my University. They have taught me coding languages that my project use.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes my work do networking events like lunches with other apprentice within the company. As well as that they have a Sports and social club that anyone within the company can join and it's full of events to attend

  • Yes

  • CGI has supported me through mentoring, a welcoming and inclusive team, and well-being initiatives that help me maintain a healthy work-life balance while growing in my role.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CGI?
  • Be yourself. It is not always about qualifications but how a person can get along with other people.
