I help with Client support and do bits of development ( helping fix bugs and improving the application I'm working on) as well as testing the changes I've made.
Yes I have learnt new coding languages. Learnt how to work on an Agile team. Improved my team-working and communication skills. As well as learning the process of how my team works
I've enjoyed it alot. My expectations before I started the apprenticeship scheme has been met and even exceeded.
I feel it has been really structured and organised as I have been put on a team since I've joined and they have set me up with the right people. Additionally I feel the training I've been put to do prepared me well to start working.
I feel supported fully from not only my team but colleagues outside my team as well.
I feel supported from my University. I'm only on my first year but I can see them constantly supporting not only my University work but my company's work as well.
So far I have learnt alot from my University. They have taught me coding languages that my project use.
Yes my work do networking events like lunches with other apprentice within the company. As well as that they have a Sports and social club that anyone within the company can join and it's full of events to attend
Yes
CGI has supported me through mentoring, a welcoming and inclusive team, and well-being initiatives that help me maintain a healthy work-life balance while growing in my role.
Be yourself. It is not always about qualifications but how a person can get along with other people.
