I participate in the confirmation and settlement of trades in trade operations. This involve liaising with multiple areas of the business as well as external stakeholders such as brokers and custodians.
I have developed my people skills since working here, I've been able to help grow my network and meet lots of interesting new people. I have also developed my admin skills an attention to details.
I really enjoy my program as it gives me an insight into the working world and a big foot in the door with the experience under my belt.
Very well structured I have one manager which i am the only person reporting in to, i know exactly who i can go to if i need any assistance,
I receive support from every aspect possible, whether that be day to day support or a more long term thing, i know i can turn to people in my team as well as across the business. There are also many benefits which help with my wellbeing and support that way.
I receive support whenever it is asked for, If i have any questions or my training qualification provider i know that i can email and get a prompt response.
I believe that the qualification i am getting helps provide me with a wider knowledge and understanding of the finance sector as a whole, thus helping me understand my job role more.
Yes! there are many networks i can get involved in which run regular events there are also lots of volunteer days i can participate in too!
