I assist various different solicitors on a wide range of cases, I meet with clients, experts and counsel, I review various types of records, I draft letters of claim or letters of instruction and I have had the opportunity to attend Court also.
Yes, I have devloped in my all round confidence, I have developed my skills in IT, public speaking and time management
I very much enjoy working for Irwin Mitchell, I feel so supported and really enjoy the work itself, the work I do varies so much and I get so many opportunities to do different things and meet new people.
Quite well, no complaints.
Loads, I have always felt so supported by Irwin Mitchell and my team, I know I could talk to anybody if I had an issue. They are really invested in the apprentices
Not loads, I feel as though our provider did not really explain things to us properly with regards to the End Point Assessment and when I would email to look for support re this, I wouldn't recieve a response.
It helped me gain more knowledge on the legal field in general and helped my confidence when performning different / new tasks at work, as a lot of the time I had learnt these through the apprenticeship beforehand.
Yes plenty, I have had the opportunity to get involved with Headway and I am now a Headway Commitee member, I help to organise and attend various events for our members. I have also had many opportunities to attend BD events and network with others, as well as career events at various secondary schools and colleges.
