Using different lab techniques to perform biomarker analysis of samples from patients being treated with AstraZenecas drugs. Day-to-day this involves experiment planning, lab based work, data analysis and experimental write ups, attending meetings and sharing results with wider project teams.
Learnt new lab-based skills including cell culture, immunoblotting techniques, performing immunoassays and spatial biology. Developed soft skills including communication and presentation skills.
My manager and supervisors are very supportive with both my day-to-day work as well as my university work.
