I'm currently in a data analytics placement, focusing on automating a monthly PowerPoint presentation for executives using Tableau. My day-to-day tasks involve data collection, analysis, and visualisation to streamline reporting processes and provide insightful, automated updates for executive decision-making.

I'm really enjoying my placement. The ability to move around and work in different areas enhances my exposure and helps clarify my future career goals. This variety in experiences is invaluable, providing me with a broader perspective and a better understanding of what I want to pursue long-term.
It is very organised in my home team as I have been able to rotate to different placements quite easily.
We get the Friday's off as a study day to work on assignments and closer to the time when the assignment is due we get an extra study day.
We have compulsory lectures which we need to attend and can message tutors on Teams if we have any queries. Some assignments can be difficult to complete since some lecturers are quite vague with their requirements.
There are elements of university which help me at work but I tend to learn a lot more from work and getting hands on with projects.
I don't personally get involved with any extra-curricular activities but I know there are lots of societies to take part in and cultural events which JLR celebrate.
