Day to day, I deal with network operations activities, this includes dealing with incidents and changes - both physically installing equipment and remoting into equipment around the world .
Yes, I have gained my CompTIA network+ and Security+ - I have also learnt how too operate in the workplace, with presentations and interpersonal skills massively increasing. I can now operate independently or as a team, and now have the ability too research fixes and solutions if unsure
Yes - I enjoy the mix for learning industry qualifications and applying my skills that I have gained; it generates a positive feedback loop where it makes me more motivated too learn more skills and improve.
I feel like I have a structure day to day and know my tasks during the day - however I do lack slightly a vision of a long term structure.
I receive a large amount of support from my employeer, my manager and in workplace mentor both provide leadership and consideration; I also have a dedicated team in HR that helps me with any issues with my learning provider and my apprenticeship.
I receive a large amount of material from my learning provider with both industry standard courses and in person teaching; I also had workshops before my projects too help me plan and execute them. I would like slightly more support when it comes too my End Point Assessment material as the knowledge is being taught but I not 100% how it would look.
Yes, industry standard certificates help me perform in my role and give me knowledge in other roles close but not including my role - so I have a wide range of knowledge of both in and out of my role.
I get involved with extra activity's out of work with both my team and other apprentices, we have a budget each year for team bonding - I have also been invited todo other outreach events.
