1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I have had my expectations surpassed by the Cyber Securiy Apprenticeship at Computacenter. The whole programme is really well thought out and I have been given all the tools to improve. The team is absolutely fantastic and are always willing to help. I definitely recommend this Apprenticeship to anyone who has an interest in Cyber Security!

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I came into this Apprenticeship with no knowledge of Cyber Security and very basic IT skills. I have learned a tremendous amount of technical knowledge such as the use different Cyber Security tools

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the programme. The Apprenticeship offers many different rotations across different departments across Cyber Security and I have thoroughly enjoyed every single one so far with many more to come.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

As mentioned earlier, the programme is incredibly well planned with rotations across all of Cyber Security and so if you have an interest in the field there will be something you like!

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support system is outstanding. You have your manager, a work colleague, an apprentice mentor. I have also been so suprised at everyone's willingness to help even if they are not involved. Its a great team!

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider have been great so far and the learning mentor provided by the training provider is also great and has your best interests in heart.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

So far I've only had the introduction course but I know from the road map that the other qualifications will definitely help us in my Cyber journey

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

The company are very active with extra curricular activities and are always pushing for apprentices to be involved.
