  • Assist with tax compliance and reporting tasks. Range of corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing. Work on patent box and research and development claims, VAT returns and many different smaller tasks

  • Lots - building relationships (with individuals, organisations and collaborating to achieve results as part of a team). Gained business insight, and have an appreciation of different organisations and environment. Communication skills (Bing able to communicate unclear, appropriate manner, which suits different individuals and situations). Leadership skills, ethics, and integrity skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Greatly, I love that I can implement what I am learning in college. I would like to work and connect more frequently with more people at similar stages in their career to me but that is just the nature of the role I have.

  • Pretty well, as I am the only one doing my apprenticeship from my workplace I have to organise quite a lot myself

  • Lots of excellent support from kaplan

  • Massively, can implement stuff straight away

  • Not really, but I am not that fussed, I do lots of these things outside of work
