I am the Service Design lead for a government project, leading a small design team through E2E design initiatives, from discovery to development handover. I am expected to produce design deliverables such as a service blueprint, host workshops, and playback work for the client.
I have continuously developed new skills in design through my role and my apprenticeship
The apprenticeship has been great for learning theory behind design and building confidence in my skills.
The programme has been well organised
My employer is very supportive in allowing additional time for apprenticeship work
The training provider has been great in providing additional materials as well as the lectures to ensure we have access to the right tools
My course has given me more validation whilst doing my role and allows me to work better with other design disciplines as I now have a greater understanding of UX as a whole
