I manage the relationship between IBM and partner company Salesforce within the United Kingdom and Ireland. This involves business planning, Marketing, ensuring the success of the practice as well as providing support.
Yes I have been able to develop form a Sales role into managing the alliance in UKI using my knowledge and expertise of Salesforce I have learnt throughout my apprenticeships.
I really enjoy my programme specifically the sense of community between apprentices and support from the business.

I receive a lot of support not only do I have my line manager who manages my day job I have an foundation manager to helps me navigate my apprenticeship and a career coach who helps to ensure I progress in my career in line with promotions.
I have an assigned study skills coach from my university as well as the ability to email tutors at any time, the support is great.
The ability to learn whilst I work is so valuable. Being able to apply to theory and reasoning to my daily tasks helps when positioning the IBM Salesforce partnership as a key strategy and helps push my points to executives at both IBM and Salesforce
I take part in my business units apprenticeship team, we collaborate together to ensure success for current and future apprenticeships as well as advocating the scheme to executives in the business. I am also a mentor which allows me to gain skills

The support from colleagues and managers is unmatched, as well as the opportunity to grow. The variety of roles you can grow into means that you can grow into a professional in a real variety of fields. The opportunity to work with the vast number of partners IBM have also helps to understand the ever changing business world.
