general running of a machining area, managing component production for 3 turbo assembly lines. responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost of the area.
yes, broader knowledge and understanding of skills and tools to manage people, myself and operations
i do a remote program, but i really value the in class sessions
its more time away from work to undergo the apprenticeship program, any efforts i need to do in work i have to manage and arrange myself. this can sometimes be tricky when doing specific tasks
my manager is good in allowing me the time, but other than that i have to manage tasks and resource for the tasks myself
they're available on email for me to drop in and ask questions, the course does feel a little rushed. i think it would be a lot easier for them to support if it was in class mostly
i am still undergoing the apprenticeship program but i have already started to practice new method, skills and behaviors into my day to day working life
not really
