  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is to oversee the Leadership and Development and Qualification training at ivolve Care and support. I work within the senior management of the Learning development team. I am responsible for all Leadership training and facilitating relationships with our training providers to offer a wide range of apprenticeships accross our group.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • This course has supported me to both gain confidence and knowledge across the Learning and development sector. It has introduced me to various theories and strategies to manage learning within my role.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have thoroughly enjoy my programme and its great to share experiences with like minded indviudals not just from the Health Care sector. It allows you to bounce ideas and hear about others experiences to enable you to enhance your delivery within the role

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Lifetime deliver a comprehensive programme, which is well structures and supportive. I have required to have a Break in learning due to a change in job role whilst on my programme which was fully supported by Lifetime, my manager and ivolve.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer and in particularly my manager has been very supportive throughout my programme. They have allowed time to complete learning recognising the benefits that this will bring to the role.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Lifetime have been very supportive, my assessor has been great. She listens and supports where ever required

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • This qualification is key to me being able to do my job role with more confidence and knowledge. Although I have gained a lot of sector experience in my role this was my first Learning and development role with a Care provider. This qualification will continue to support me to improve.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Our Team do try and do as much as they can to bring the team together, where we work remotely its a difficult task as we are all scattered across the UK. There are always opportunities to Network and we are encouraged to access events that will bring a value to our role and our experience

  • Yes

  • Its a great place to work, where hard work and effort are recognised. ivolve Care and Support aligns with my values and in turn creates an environment that is enriching and rewarding


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to ivolve care and support?
  • Why wouldn't you! If you are new to care or the sector ivolve will invest in your development, provide support for you to grow and aspires to be a great place to work for everyone involved. If you have worked in the sector and looking for a fresh start then ivolve can be the grass that is greener on the other side of the fence.
