In my current role, I am tasked with performing many different maintenance operations throughout the BMW Mini Plant Swindon
I have learned so many skills and techniques when working with all of the friendly staff here, some of the skills I have learned or improved upon throughout this apprenticeship have been my welding skills, fault-finding skills, wire tracing capabilities, and my confidence to be able to perform tasks without any assistance
I'm really enjoying learning and developing all of these new skills, and some of the subjects you are taught within the classroom settings are interesting and engaging.
I feel that the structure of this programme has been great, and am very much enjoying my time in the apprenticeship.
I feel i can always approach those who I am working with if I have any questions about a task or if i require help with something.
I feel I am always given enough time to be able to complete all of my classroom study work, and feel that I am supported well if i don't understand parts of a subject.
The training I have received has been great for the role I will be fulfilling when qualified, particularly when working on site and helping to fix/maintain things that I will be doing when qualified.
I would like there to be more offered in regards to extra curricular activities, there are many networking events that we can attend to encourage others to apply for the apprenticeship.
