My day to day work involves analyzing data for our operations and inventory team here at my site focusing on excel and power bi.
I've learnt a lot of valuable skills including excel and power bi 2 things i knew very little about before i started working here and now i am very confident in both programs.
I've enjoyed my apprenticeship to a degree, DHL have been very supportive along the way with catch calls and reaching out. QA have been poor, which may of just been down to getting a poor tutor but i expected more outreach from them.
My programme has been somewhat organized, i feel though as my site doesn't use some of the programs which i learnt in my apprentice ship it's been hard to actually learn these.
I receive a lot of support from my employer and they are always on hand to help and bi monthly catch up calls have helped during this apprenticeship.
Very limited which may be down to my trainer but now in my EPA i haven't heard my tutor once, when this is the most important stage of my whole apprenticeship.
It gives me a better understanding of data and the many ways i can analyze the data and best show the story im trying to tell.
We have data community events which anyone inside the business can go to where you can talk to like - minded people who are interested in data.
Yes
They are a good company to work for who care about their employees and are a very forward moving company in terms of DEI and environmental and there's an exciting future here at DHL.
Just be yourself, in my experience the whole process was so friendly and smooth, the interview was so relaxed felt more like a chat with a friend than a job interview.
